No More Heroes 3 is an action game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and directed by Goichi Suda (Suda51). It launched on Nintendo Switch on August 27, 2021, then came to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on October 11, 2022, published by Marvelous and XSEED Games.

Otaku assassin Travis Touchdown returns to Santa Destroy to face Prince FU and his nine alien underlings, who plan to take over Earth. To stop them, Travis must climb the Galactic Superhero Rankings one boss fight at a time.

Combat centers on fast hack-and-slash action with the beam katana, combos and special moves. Each ranked battle ends in a big, often strange boss encounter, and the game keeps the series' mix of humor and style.

Between fights you ride the Demzamtiger motorcycle across an open world with four locations, taking on battle and volunteer missions to earn the money needed for each ranking match.

It is a single-player game. It suits fans of the earlier No More Heroes titles and players who like over-the-top action with an offbeat sense of humor.

The game also features a range of minigames and odd jobs, from lawn mowing to garbage collection, along with collectibles and upgrades for Travis's skills and gear. Presentation leans on retro game references and TV-style episode framing, which match the series' playful, self-aware tone throughout the campaign.
