Overcooked! 2 is a co-op cooking action game developed by Ghost Town Games with Team17 and published by Team17. It launched on August 7, 2018 and is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, macOS and Linux.

You and up to three other chefs chop, cook, plate and serve dishes against the clock. Orders stack up quickly, so the team has to split jobs, pass ingredients and keep the kitchen running without burning anything.

The sequel adds the ability to throw ingredients across the kitchen, which changes how teams plan routes. Kitchens shift and evolve during a level, with teleporters, moving platforms and stages that carry chefs to new locations.

You can play solo by switching between two chefs, with friends on the same couch, or online with up to four players. There is also a competitive versus mode for teams that want to play against each other.

The story returns to the Onion Kingdom, where a new threat called The Unbread is on the loose. You travel an overworld map by land, sea and air, cooking sushi, cakes, burgers and pizzas in themes that range from magic schools to alien planets. It suits friends, families and party groups who want a quick, funny game that rewards teamwork.
