Paradise Killer is an open-world investigation adventure developed by Kaizen Game Works and published by Fellow Traveller. It launched on September 4, 2020 for PC and Nintendo Switch, then reached PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in March 2022.
The story takes place on Paradise, an island outside reality where a cult hopes to bring back dead alien gods. On the eve of the island's rebirth, the ruling Council is murdered behind locked doors. You play as Lady Love Dies, an investigator called back from exile to find the killer.
You explore the island freely in first person, collecting evidence, finding clues, and talking to a cast of eccentric suspects. There is no fixed order and no hand-holding, so you decide where to look and which leads to follow. Collectibles hidden around the island, such as Blood Crystals, can be spent on upgrades.
When you are ready, you start the trial and present your case. Several characters could be guilty, and the outcome depends on the evidence you found and how you argue it. You can even convict someone with an incomplete case, which makes each playthrough feel personal.
A later free update added new music, extra quests and collectibles, a HUDless mode, and visual upgrades on PC. It suits single-player fans of detective stories, exploration, and stylish, unusual settings.
PC: PC keys activate on Steam.
Consoles: Console codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network, a Microsoft account, or the Nintendo eShop, depending on the version.
Extras: The soundtrack, art book, and B-Sides music are sold as separate add-ons and are not needed to play.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, and read our guide on how to activate your CD key. Learn more on the official Paradise Killer website.
