PAW Patrol: Grand Prix is a kart racing game developed by 3DClouds and published by Outright Games. Based on the PAW Patrol TV series, it released on September 30, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
The pups are competing for the Pup Cup. You pick a character, choose a race, and drive around tracks set in familiar places such as Adventure Bay, The Jungle, and Jake's Snowboarding Resort. The racing style is similar to well-known kart games like Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing, scaled down for younger players.
The roster includes Ryder, Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye, Everest, Tracker, and Rex. Young players can turn on auto-acceleration so they only need to steer, while a harder difficulty gives older kids and parents more of a challenge.
You can race alone or with up to four players in local split-screen, which makes it a good fit for family game nights. Two DLC packs were added later: Race in Barkingburg adds a new location, and Pup Treat Arena adds a battle arena mode. A Complete Edition with both packs released in March 2024.
PAW Patrol: Grand Prix is best for younger children who love the show and for families who want an easy couch racing game to play together.
PC (Steam): PC keys activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows 10 and up to 16 GB of storage.
Consoles: Console codes are redeemed on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Nintendo eShop, depending on the version you pick.
Editions: The standard game excludes the two DLC packs. The Complete Edition includes Race in Barkingburg and Pup Treat Arena.
