Poker Night at the Inventory is a comedy card game built around No Limit Texas Hold'em. Originally made by Telltale Games in 2010 and later delisted, it was remastered and re-released by Skunkape Games on March 5, 2026 for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.
You sit down at a table in the Inventory, an underground social club for video game characters, and face four opponents: Max from Sam & Max, Strong Bad from Homestar Runner, Tycho from Penny Arcade, and the Heavy from Team Fortress 2. Most of the fun comes from their banter and trash talk between hands, so you do not need deep poker strategy to enjoy it.
Winning tournaments unlocks new table designs and card decks themed around each opponent's series, and some of them change how characters or the game look. This release adds new unlocks, improved graphics and animation, gamepad support, smarter AI opponents, and an adjustable starting buy-in.
When an opponent runs low on cash, they may throw a personal item into the pot. Knock them out and the item goes into your trophy case, and the PC version also awards reissued Team Fortress 2 items.
It is a single-player game that suits fans of Telltale's humor, the guest franchises, and anyone who wants a relaxed, joke-filled poker night.
PC: PC keys usually activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows 10 or later and about 1 GB of storage.
Consoles: Switch and PS4 codes are redeemed on the Nintendo eShop or PlayStation Network.
Remaster: This is the 2026 Skunkape Games release, not the original 2010 Telltale version, which is no longer sold.
