Ranch Simulator, full name Ranch Simulator: Build, Hunt, Farm, is an open-world simulation game developed by Toxic Dog and published by Excalibur Games. After early access, the full Unreal Engine 5 release launched on PC through Steam on November 3, 2023.

You inherit your grandfather's ranch in a remote forested valley, and it has fallen into disrepair. Buy tools at the hardware store, purchase vehicles from the garage, renovate the main house, and build barns, pens and runs for the animals you choose to raise.

Income comes from daily ranch work. Feed and water livestock, breed and raise young animals, and sell produce to fund new projects. You can also farm crops, make sausages and cheese, and train and sell horses as your business grows.

Outside the homestead is a large open world full of wildlife. Hunt deer and bears with a rifle, but watch out for hungry wolves that may target your animals back at the ranch. Balancing time spent in the wild with chores at home is part of the challenge, and the more you produce and sell, the faster you can expand.

The whole game can be played alone or in online co-op with up to four players. Ranch Simulator suits fans of building, renovation and farming games who want a mix of steady management and outdoor exploration.
