Gameplay follows the classic adventure formula. You explore locations, talk to characters, collect items, and combine them to solve puzzles. The repeating day is central to the design, with familiar places and characters returning as Randal tries to set things right.

Randal wakes up hungover after his best friend Matt's engagement party, holding Matt's wallet with the engagement ring inside. He sells the ring, triggers a curse, and is forced to relive the same disastrous Monday again and again until he fixes his mistake before space-time itself starts to collapse.

The humor is dark and the script is full of pop culture and geek references from the past 30 years. Jeff Anderson voices Randal, and Jason Mewes appears as Jay alongside Silent Bob. It is a single-player game with a full story campaign and no online features.

Randal's Monday suits fans of classic point-and-click comedies and anyone who enjoys time-loop stories with plenty of in-jokes.
