Rusty Rabbit is a side-scrolling action adventure game developed by Nitroplus, a Japanese studio known for story-focused games, and published by NetEase Games. It was released worldwide in April 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

The setting is a far-future Earth in a new ice age. Humans have left the planet, and a society of highly evolved rabbits now salvages the giant ruins they left behind. Those brave enough to explore the vast ruin known as Smokestack Mountain are called rust diggers.

You play as Stamp, a middle-aged, impatient rabbit who makes a living as a rust digger. After joining a digging crew called the BBs, he heads deeper into Smokestack Mountain and finds clues about his estranged daughter and the truth behind his world.

Exploration happens in a mech called Junkster. You smash through blocks to dig new paths, collect junk and treasure, and fight enemies and bosses with a range of weapons and abilities. Parts and materials gathered from the ruins upgrade the mech, and Stamp's own skills level up along the way. Boss fights test what you have learned.

The game is single-player and blends story-driven adventure with dungeon digging. It suits players who like 2D action, mechs, and exploring large interconnected areas for upgrades. Steam lists full controller support, and a gamepad is recommended for the best feel in combat and digging.
