SD Gundam Battle Alliance is a mission-based action RPG developed by ARTDINK and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It released on August 24, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The story takes place in G: Universe, where strange phenomena called Breaks distort famous moments from Gundam history, and your squad must set them right.
You lead a three-unit team of Mobile Suits and pilots drawn from more than 25 Gundam series and films, from the original Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta Gundam to Gundam Wing, Gundam SEED, Gundam 00 and Iron-Blooded Orphans. Combat is combo-driven melee and ranged action with dynamic animations. Clearing missions earns Capital and expansion parts that you use to develop new Mobile Suits and upgrade favorites. You can play solo with AI partners or bring two friends in online co-op. The PC version scored 71 on Metacritic.
Fans who prefer strategy can compare it with SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays, while Gundam Breaker 4 leans further into model customization. An SD Gundam Battle Alliance CD key is usually the cheapest way in. See the Steam page for the Season Pass and DLC packs.
