In a dystopian future ruled by corporations, a brutal reality show is the biggest thing on TV. You play as Scarlett Martillo, a contestant out for revenge, fighting through dangerous urban arenas packed with lethal traps and heavily armed psychopaths. Every victory is staged for the cameras.

Each stage mixes real-time exploration with turn-based combat. Between fights you avoid traps, solve puzzles, and look for hidden challenges. In battle, environmental hazards such as ticking bombs and runaway trains can be used against enemies, while a show director may hinder you or help them. Hidden challenges can unlock extra allies and legendary weapons.

As the story progresses, new partners join Scarlett. You upgrade each character through skill trees and gear from shops or battle rewards. Fame earned in fights unlocks sponsorship deals with useful bonuses. Streamers can use Twitch integration to let chat change each level.

Showgunners is single-player. It suits fans of XCOM-style tactics who want a stylish, story-driven campaign with handcrafted levels rather than procedural maps. Full controller support makes it comfortable on PC as well as console.
