Sugardew Island - Your Cozy Farm Shop is a farming and shop management simulation developed and published by small indie team rokaplay. It launched on March 7, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, with an Xbox Series X|S version following shortly after.
After a storm leaves a small island in need of care, you take over a farm and its shop. Days are spent planting crops, making fertilizer, gathering wood and stone, and looking after animals that give you eggs and milk.
The shop is the main twist. Instead of shipping produce off, you sell it yourself to the Forest Folk and negotiate prices with each customer. Earnings go toward seeds and animals from Trader Tomte and upgrades to your house, barn, and tools, while Harmony Tree orders gradually restore the island.
Sugardew Island is single-player and deliberately simple. There are no time limits or harsh penalties, sessions can be short, and the developers estimate around 15 hours of play. You can also name pets that follow you, customize your character, and befriend or date some of the locals.
The game is inspired by the Nintendo DS-era Harvest Moon games and suits players who want a calm, low-stress farming sim, newcomers to the genre, and anyone who prefers short relaxing play sessions over long-term planning.
PC: PC keys activate on Steam. The game runs on 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 with about 5 GB of storage.
Consoles: PS5 and PS4 codes redeem on PlayStation Network, Switch codes on the Nintendo eShop, and Xbox Series X|S codes on a Microsoft account.
DLC: Small cosmetic packs, such as seasonal costumes, are sold separately and are optional.
