After a world-ending event, you lead a group of survivors who must rebuild from almost nothing. You gather scarce resources, place buildings and keep colonists fed, healthy and safe. More than 130 buildings let your settlement grow from a few shelters into a working colony, with power, water, food and healthcare all needing attention.

Natural disasters and environmental hazards can strike at any time, so planning ahead matters. Bandits and wildlife also threaten the colony, and you can equip defenders with gear to protect it. Hard decisions affect colonist happiness and the future of the settlement.

Beyond your walls, you send specialists into a procedurally generated world map. More than 80 unique specialists can scout, set up outposts, gather materials and uncover secrets about the apocalypse. You also meet rival colony leaders to trade or compete for survival.

Surviving the Aftermath is a single-player game focused on long-term planning rather than fast action. It suits fans of city builders and survival strategy, and players who enjoyed Surviving Mars and want a post-apocalyptic setting.
