Tales of Xillia Remastered is an action role-playing game developed by DOKIDOKI GROOVEWORKS and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is a remaster of the 2011 Tales of Xillia and was released on October 31, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

The story takes place in Rieze Maxia, a world where humans and spirits live side by side. At the start you choose one of two leads: Jude Mathis, a medical student from the capital, or Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman who commands four powerful spirits. Their paths cross, and each perspective shows different scenes along the way.

Combat uses the Dual Raid Linear Motion Battle System. Battles play out in real time, and you link with an ally to combine attacks, trigger support skills and chain powerful Linked Artes. Party members can be swapped during fights to cover weaknesses.

The remaster adds quality-of-life updates such as improved graphics, auto-save, the option to toggle random encounters and early shop access. DLC from the original release, including costumes and useful items, is included. Local co-op lets friends join battles on a shared screen.

It suits JRPG fans, newcomers to the Tales series and players who want a long story-driven adventure with fast, team-based combat.
