Terminator 2D: No Fate is a side-scrolling arcade action game developed by Bitmap Bureau and published by Reef Entertainment. It released on December 12, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The game follows the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day in detailed pixel art. You play as Sarah Connor and the T-800 as they try to stay ahead of the T-1000 and stop Skynet, and as John Connor leading the Resistance in Future War missions.
Levels mix shooting, stealth, and escape sequences, with many enemy types from Cyberdyne and Skynet and boss fights along the way. Each stage is ranked, and high scores feed into leaderboards for players who want to replay for a better result.
The story blends recreated scenes from the film with new scenarios and multiple endings. Beyond Story Mode, you can unlock Arcade Mode, Infinite Mode, Boss Rush, Mother of the Future, and Level Training. The soundtrack reworks music from the film score alongside new tracks.
It is a single-player game that suits fans of the film and of classic 16-bit era action games who enjoy chasing scores and replaying levels.
PC: Most PC keys activate on Steam. The game runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux and needs about 1 GB of storage.
Consoles: PlayStation codes redeem on PlayStation Network, Xbox codes on a Microsoft account, and Switch codes on the Nintendo eShop.
Single-player: There is no online multiplayer, so one key covers the full game and all unlockable modes.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, then follow our guide on how to activate your CD key. For a first-person take on the series, see Terminator: Resistance, or visit the official Terminator 2D: No Fate website.
