The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is an expansion for the massively multiplayer online RPG The Elder Scrolls Online, developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.
The expansion takes players to Vvardenfell, the iconic island previously explored in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The region features ash-covered landscapes, giant mushrooms, volcanic terrain, ancient ruins, and familiar locations from the Elder Scrolls universe.
The main storyline centers around Vivec, the legendary warrior-poet and one of the Tribunal gods. As his divine power mysteriously begins to disappear, players must help uncover the source of the threat while protecting Vvardenfell from a dangerous supernatural force.
Morrowind also introduces the Warden, a nature-focused playable class capable of summoning a powerful War Bear companion. Players can also participate in Battlegrounds, smaller-scale 4v4v4 PvP matches featuring objective-based combat.
