Former detective Sebastian Castellanos believed his daughter Lily died in a house fire. When a shadowy organization called Mobius reveals she is alive and trapped inside STEM, a machine that links human minds into a shared world, he agrees to go in and bring her back. Inside, the small town of Union is falling apart and filling with monsters.

Union is built from larger, semi-open areas that you can explore at your own pace. Side locations hide ammo, crafting parts, and upgrade gel, while safe houses offer a place to rest, save, and use the workbench. Supplies are limited, so every bullet and crafted item matters.

You can choose how to handle each threat. Stealth lets you sneak past or take down enemies quietly, while firearms, the crossbow with special bolts, and traps help when things go wrong. Skill upgrades let you shape Sebastian toward stealth, combat, health, or recovery.

The game is a single-player experience with multiple difficulty settings, and an optional first-person mode was added in a later update. It suits horror fans who enjoy tense resource management, unsettling enemies, and a personal story about a father searching for his child.
