The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy is an adventure game with turn-based tactical battles, developed by Too Kyo Games with Media.Vision and published by Aniplex. It released in April 2025 for PC and Nintendo Switch, and it is the first joint project of Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi.
The game alternates between story, free time and combat. When monsters called invaders attack, you defend the school in grid-based strategy battles, using each student's Specialist Skills to turn the fight.
Between battles, you spend free time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, explore the wilderness and ruins outside the walls, and craft gifts from the items you find. Your choices in these moments shape where the story goes, and the cast of 15 students each has a distinct personality and role in the unit.
You play as Takumi Sumino, an ordinary teenager whose town is attacked by monsters. A strange creature named Sirei offers him power, and he wakes up in Last Defense Academy, a school surrounded by a wall of flames. He and 14 other students must defend it for 100 days. It is a single-player game.
The Hundred Line suits fans of story-heavy visual novels, Danganronpa and Zero Escape, and tactical RPGs, especially players who enjoy dark mysteries with branching routes and a large cast of distinctive characters.
PC (Steam): Most PC keys activate on Steam and run on Windows 10 or 11.
Nintendo Switch: Switch codes redeem on the Nintendo eShop. There is no PlayStation or Xbox version.
Extras: The soundtrack and artbook are sold separately on Steam. Check that a listing is the full game.
