The Settlers: New Allies is a strategy game developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf and published by Ubisoft. It launched on PC through Ubisoft Connect on February 17, 2023, later arrived on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, and reached Steam on March 26, 2024. It is a full reboot of the long-running German city-builder series, rebuilt with new graphics and detailed animations.
The game pairs an in-depth build-up economy with real-time battles. You gather resources, set up production chains and expand your settlement, then turn that economy into an army to defend territory and push back rivals. Three factions, the Elari, the Maru and the Jorn, each bring their own look, playstyle and backstory. A story-driven campaign introduces the world, and a Hardcore mode adds extra challenge for experienced players. Online skirmishes support up to eight players against other people or AI, with co-op and cross-platform multiplayer listed on Steam.
Players who enjoy long economic games such as Anno 1800 but want more direct military conflict will find a familiar loop here. A cheap The Settlers: New Allies CD key is the lowest-cost way into the series' modern entry. The Deluxe Edition adds the Deluxe Pack and Explorer Pack.
