Titan Quest II is an action RPG developed by Grimlore Games and published by THQ Nordic. It is the sequel to the 2006 hack-and-slash Titan Quest. The game entered Steam Early Access on August 1, 2025 for PC, so it is still in development and content is being added over time. THQ Nordic is targeting the end of 2026 for the full 1.0 release.

The story is rooted in Greek mythology. Nemesis, the goddess of retribution, has lost control and is corrupting the Threads of Fate, punishing anyone who stands against her. You take up arms, fight alongside the gods, and travel through a world filled with mythical creatures to set fate right.

Gameplay follows the classic action RPG loop: explore, defeat monsters, collect loot, and upgrade your hero. Character building is based on masteries. You combine two masteries to form your class, and skill modifiers let you change how individual abilities behave, so the same pair of masteries can support very different builds.

You can play alone or team up with friends in online co-op. Because the game is in Early Access, it does not yet include the full campaign, and balance, systems, and features may change before 1.0.

Titan Quest II suits fans of loot-driven action RPGs, players who enjoy theorycrafting builds, and anyone interested in Greek myth who is comfortable with an unfinished game.

Which version should you buy?

• PC (Early Access): PC keys activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, about 50 GB of space, and an SSD.

• Consoles: There is no console version yet. THQ Nordic plans PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions with the 1.0 release.

• Early Access: Buying now gives access to the current build and future updates. Expect missing content and ongoing changes.
