You play as a 13-year-old whose body is permanently stuck in the shape of the letter T. Daily life becomes a series of small challenges, from petting the dog to eating breakfast, handled through playful minigames where you move the teen's arms and mouth.

The story unfolds over several days in an episodic format. You explore a small seaside town on foot, by train, or by unicycle, meeting characters like a sandwich-making giraffe, a caring mother, and a group of bullies. A mysterious glowing object that falls from the sky drives the plot. Each chapter introduces new characters, places, and everyday situations for the teen to handle in their own way.

to a T is single-player. Outside the story, a free mode lets you collect coins, find viewpoints, visit shops, and buy clothes to customize the teen's style. Your fluffy dog companion joins you throughout, following the teen around town and keeping them company on their daily routine.
