Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction is a tactical first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It launched on January 20, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Instead of team-versus-team matches, Extraction is a player-versus-environment game. Rainbow Six operators form REACT, a team sent into quarantined zones to fight the Archaeans, an evolving alien parasite. Each incursion has three sub-zones with randomized objectives, and you choose whether to push deeper or extract early.

Tactics matter more than speed. Operators bring gadgets and abilities familiar from Rainbow Six Siege, and REACT technology adds new tools. If an operator goes down, they are left behind and become missing in action, and you must return to rescue them before you can use them again.
