Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is a 2D fighting game published by Capcom. It is an updated version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo, released exclusively for Nintendo Switch on May 26, 2017.
The core is the classic one-on-one Street Fighter II formula: pick a fighter, learn their special moves and win rounds by draining your opponent's health. The roster adds two new challengers, Evil Ryu and Violent Ken.
You can switch between the original pixel art and a modern, redrawn visual style. Way of the Hado is a new first-person mode that uses Joy-Con motion controls to throw Hadoken and Shoryuken against waves of enemies.
Up to two players can fight locally on one console or over local wireless. Online play offers Ranked and Casual matches, and a co-op mode lets two players team up against the CPU. A digital art gallery with more than 1,500 illustrations is also included.
Single-player Arcade mode lets you battle through the roster against CPU opponents, and Versus mode covers head-to-head fights with a friend. It suits Street Fighter fans who want a portable version of the classic and players looking for an easy-to-learn local fighting game.
Activation: Digital codes redeem on the Nintendo eShop with a Nintendo Account.
Platform: This release is Switch-only. There is no PC, PlayStation or Xbox version.
Online play: Online Ranked and Casual matches need a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Offers differ by edition, region and store, so compare the listed sellers side by side to find the right key for your platform.
