Untitled Goose Game is a comedic stealth puzzle game developed by House House, a small studio from Melbourne, Australia, and published by Panic. It launched on September 20, 2019 for PC, macOS, and Nintendo Switch, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in December 2019 and a Steam release in September 2020.
You play as a goose let loose in a sleepy village. Each area comes with a to-do list of mischief, such as stealing a gardener's keys, getting a boy to buy the wrong toy, or ruining a picnic. How you complete each task is up to you, and many goals have more than one solution.
The gameplay is simple to learn. The goose can honk, flap its wings, crouch, run, and grab objects with its beak. Villagers react to what you do, so sneaking, timing, and creating distractions all matter. Once a list is done, a final task opens the path to the next part of town.
The village is split into connected areas, including gardens, a high street, back gardens, and a pub. A piano soundtrack based on Debussy's Preludes reacts to your actions, swelling during chases and going quiet when you hide.
A free update added two-player local co-op, letting a second goose join the chaos. The main story is short, but extra to-do items reward replays. The game suits players of all ages who enjoy light puzzles, physical comedy, and relaxed play sessions.
PC and Mac: Most PC keys activate on Steam. The game needs a 64-bit Windows 7 SP1 system and under 1 GB of storage.
Consoles: Codes for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One redeem on the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network, or a Microsoft account.
Co-op: Two-player co-op is included in all current versions at no extra cost.
