Voidtrain is a first-person survival adventure developed and published by HypeTrain Digital. After a long Early Access period, version 1.0 launched on November 7, 2025 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, including Xbox Game Pass on day one. A PlayStation 5 version followed on July 30, 2026.

You play as an engineer pulled into the Void, a surreal dimension of floating islands, rail lines, and hostile creatures. The core loop is simple to learn: gather materials along the track, bring them back to your train, and turn them into better tools, weapons, and wagons.

The train is the heart of the game. You start with an empty trolley and expand it into a multi-wagon machine with an upgraded engine, storage, workbenches, and decorations. Small helper creatures called Rofleemo can join your crew, and the route takes you past minefields, depots, puzzle islands, and enemy outposts.

Combat ranges from regular soldiers to sharks that chase the train. You craft and modify weapons, defend against waves in arena fights, and clear outposts for loot. Every run can be played alone or in online co-op with up to four players, and cross-play connects PC, Xbox, and PS5 players.

Voidtrain suits players who enjoy crafting and base building with a twist, since your base is always moving. Fans of co-op survival games will get the most from it with a small group of friends.

• PC: PC keys usually activate on Steam. The game needs 64-bit Windows and about 35 GB of storage.
