Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II is a turn-based tactics game developed by Bulwark Studios and published by Kasedo Games. It is the sequel to the 2018 Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus and released on May 21, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
For the first time you can choose between two factions, each with its own narrative campaign. Lead the techno-religious Adeptus Mechanicus under Magos Dominus Faustinius, or command Vargard Nefershah's deathless Necron legions as they wake to drive out the settlers on their world.
Battles are fast-paced and turn-based. Each faction plays very differently, and new environmental mechanics change how you move. The Mechanicus can take cover behind terrain, while the Necrons can destroy it. Building and upgrading a squad of leaders and troops lets you adapt to tougher fights.
Between battles, a strategic layer asks you to fight for control of the whole planet. You capture and defend regions, generate and manage resources, and race against the enemy's progress. The game is single-player, and adjustable difficulty settings let newcomers and veterans tune the challenge.
It suits Warhammer 40,000 fans and players who enjoy XCOM-style tactics with a grand strategy layer and a strong dark sci-fi atmosphere. Full English voice acting and a gothic industrial art style bring both factions to life, and you can save at any time.
PC: PC keys activate on Steam and run on 64-bit Windows 10 or later.
Consoles: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are redeemed on PlayStation Network or a Microsoft account.
Extras: The soundtrack and digital artbook are optional add-ons and are not needed to play.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, and read how to activate your CD key if you are new to digital keys. For more details, visit the official Mechanicus II website.
