Wheel World is a third-person open-world cycling and racing adventure developed by Messhof and published by Annapurna Interactive. It launched on July 23, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a Linux build added on Steam later.

You play as Kat, a young cyclist chosen by ancient cycling spirits. Her mission is to recover stolen Legendary bike parts and perform a ritual called The Great Shift to keep Wheel World from collapsing. The tone is light and stylish, with a touch of the supernatural.

Racing drives progression. You challenge elite cycling teams and quirky rivals, and earn Rep by winning races and pulling off difficult tricks. Rep reflects your standing among the riders as you work through the races spread across each region of the map.

Between races you ride freely through large regions full of vistas, secrets and characters. Rare parts are hidden around the world, and you can build anything from a sleek speed bike to an off-road machine. Parts change how the bike handles, so the right setup matters for each course.

It is a single-player game, backed by an original soundtrack from the label Italians Do It Better that sets the mood for both races and exploration.

It suits players who like relaxed, self-paced open-world exploration, arcade racing with light tuning, and stylish indie games from Annapurna's catalogue.
