Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 is a Long-Term Servicing Channel edition of Windows 10, released on November 16, 2021, and based on version 21H2. LTSC editions are built for devices that need a stable, unchanging operating system, such as point-of-sale systems, medical equipment, industrial PCs, and kiosks.
The main difference from regular Windows 10 is how updates work. LTSC receives security updates but does not get the twice-yearly feature updates. That means the system stays functionally the same for its entire support period, which reduces the risk of updates breaking specialized software.
LTSC is also leaner than standard Windows 10. It does not include the Microsoft Store or most built-in consumer apps such as Weather, Mail, or the Xbox app, which keeps the installation smaller and more focused on business use. It includes Enterprise features such as BitLocker, AppLocker, Credential Guard, and Windows Defender Application Control.
Microsoft's standard support for Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 runs until January 12, 2027. The separate Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 edition has a longer support window, so make sure you buy the edition your devices need.
LTSC is licensed through Microsoft volume licensing. Compare Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 key prices on CDKeyCompares, and read why some Windows keys are so cheap before buying.
