World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic is the faithful recreation of the third expansion for Blizzard’s iconic MMORPG. Released in May 2024 (and currently active in its final phases in 2026), Cataclysm fundamentally changed the face of Azeroth. Following the defeat of the Lich King, the Corrupted Aspect Deathwing the Destroyer erupted from Deepholm, causing a global cataclysm that permanently altered the landscape of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
This "Classic" version allows players to experience the high-speed leveling, the introduction of Goblins and Worgen, and the challenging heroic dungeons that defined the 2010 era. You don’t need to buy a separate "CD key" for the base game; a standard World of Warcraft subscription includes access to all Classic versions. However, players often look for Blazing Upgrade keys to unlock exclusive mounts, level boosts, and cosmetic items.
The Shattered World: Experience the redesigned zones of Azeroth, now fully flyable with flying mounts for the first time in the "Classic" timeline.
New Playable Races: Join the Horde as the industrious Goblins or the Alliance as the cursed Worgen.
Archaeology Profession: Travel the world to uncover ancient artifacts and earn unique mounts, pets, and powerful "Account-Bound" gear.
Transmogrification: For the first time in Classic, customize your character's appearance by applying the look of one piece of armor to another.
Legendary Raids: Face off against the elemental lords in Firelands and prepare for the final showdown against Deathwing in Dragon Soul.
