Rituals are the main progression system. Performing them unlocks new knowledge and supernatural blessings, which you use to grow your power and expand your cities. Ruins take up valuable space and must be dealt with as your settlements spread, and only a strong, well-organized cult can attempt the final awakening.

The setting is a Lovecraftian world you uncover piece by piece. You start with little knowledge of your surroundings and expand across multiple islands. Non-believers are a source of land, resources and labor, and you can conquer, pillage, sacrifice or convert them. It is a single-player game.
