WRC 9 FIA World Rally Championship is an officially licensed rally racing simulation developed by KT Racing and published by Nacon. It launched on September 3, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and later came to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
You race against the clock on closed stages, following your co-driver's pacenotes through gravel, snow, tarmac, and mud. The handling model was refined over WRC 8 for greater realism, and environments and pacenotes were reworked.
The season adds three rallies, Kenya, Japan, and New Zealand, with around 100 special stages in total. You can drive the official drivers and cars across the WRC, WRC 2, and WRC 3 categories, plus more than 15 classic rally cars.
Career mode lets you build a team and manage your crew between events. A Clubs system lets any player create a custom championship and race it online with others, alongside online multiplayer and split-screen play.
WRC 9 suits rally fans who want an authentic, licensed simulation with a deep career mode, as well as players moving up from the previous entry who want new locations and a refined driving model.
