Wreckreation is an open-world arcade racing game developed by Three Fields Entertainment, a studio founded by veterans of the Burnout series, and published by THQ Nordic. It launched on October 28, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The core loop is simple: drive anywhere across a large island, find events, and push your car through races, takedowns and stunt challenges. Crashes are a big part of the fun, and high-speed takedowns of rival cars are rewarded.
Its standout system is the live editing tool. At any time you can drop ramps, loops, jumps and track pieces straight into the world, then turn them into custom races and challenges to play or share. Road and off-road areas give plenty of space to build, and you can switch from driving to editing in seconds, test a jump, then tweak it. Your creations can then be shared, so friends can try the tracks you build.
You can play solo or hang out online with friends in a shared world, racing, competing in PvP or building together. The developer has added cross-play and ongoing updates since launch, shaped by player feedback, so the world keeps growing with new content.
It suits players who miss classic crash-heavy arcade racers and anyone who enjoys creating their own tracks rather than only following set events.
Activation: PC keys activate on Steam; PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S codes redeem on PSN or a Microsoft account.
Region: Console codes are often region-locked, so match the code to your account region.
Online play: Online sessions on console may require PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, and read how to activate your CD key if you are unsure about redeeming. Updates and news are posted on the official Wreckreation website.
