With the alien Overlords gone, humans and former alien soldiers now live side by side in City 31, a model city meant to prove coexistence can work. Chimera Squad, an elite unit of human and alien agents, must stop underground groups that want to tear the city apart.

Missions are split into short, intense encounters. Each one starts with Breach Mode, where you assign agents to doors, windows, and vents and use breach skills to strike first. Combat then uses interleaved turns, so agents and enemies act in a shared timeline instead of whole-team phases.

Instead of random recruits, you lead 11 named agents with their own personalities and abilities, such as the Viper's tongue pull. Between missions you manage investigations, train and equip agents, and keep the city's districts from sliding into unrest. The game is single-player and supports Steam Workshop mods.
