Age of Water is an online open-world adventure developed by Three Whales Studio and published by Gaijin Network, the company behind War Thunder. It is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth where the ocean has swallowed almost all land. Survivors live on the roofs of old skyscrapers and other structures, and everything they need comes from the sea, including resources salvaged from the seabed.
You start as a captain with a small boat and work your way up. You can take quests from settlements, trade goods between ports, sell artifacts and extract resources from the ocean floor. Ship building is a core system: you assemble vessels from dozens of hulls and hundreds of parts, from small boats to combat ships around 30 meters long, then fit weapons, armor and crew. Combat covers pirate encounters, boarding and capturing enemy vessels, storming fortresses and defending allied settlements. Early progress is PvE, and PvP opens up as you choose to take riskier jobs such as smuggling or bounty hunting. Later you can build a personal naval base with factories for weapons, equipment and hulls.
