Arcade Paradise is a retro management sim developed by Nosebleed Interactive and published by Wired Productions, released on August 11, 2022. You play as Ashley, who is stuck running the family laundromat, King Wash. Instead of washing clothes and taking out the trash forever, you start installing arcade machines and grow the business into a 1990s arcade.
The loop splits between chores and play. Laundry and cleaning earn early cash, the profits buy new cabinets, and every cabinet is a full game with its own missions and high scores. There are over 35 to choose from, inspired by three decades of arcade design from early vector games to the 32-bit era. Some support co-op and competitive play for up to four players locally, and scores upload to online leaderboards. Doug Cockle, known as the voice of Geralt in The Witcher games, plays Ashley's father Gerald, who calls with advice and reminders to fix the toilet.
It suits players who like business sims and retro games in one package. Buying an Arcade Paradise CD key from a key seller is often cheaper than the Steam store listing, which also shows the DLC packs.
