Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is a single-player crafting RPG developed by Lazy Bear Games, the team behind Graveyard Keeper, and published by Riot Forge. It launched on February 21, 2024, and is set in Bandle City, the home of the small, fur-covered yordles from the League of Legends universe.
You play a shy yordle from Yarnville, an isolated island devoted to knitting. Your 101-year apprenticeship has just ended when a party goes wrong and the portals linking Bandle City collapse. Armed with knitting magic and a backpack that doubles as your house, you travel across five islands to gather materials, craft gadgets, grow crops, cook dishes and host festivals that keep your fellow yordles happy. Along the way you befriend League of Legends champions who help you mend the community.
The loop is relaxed and progression-driven, closer to a life sim than an action RPG. It suits players who enjoy crafting trees, farming and gentle storytelling, and it works as a standalone story, so League knowledge is optional. Fans of Riot's other spin-offs can pair it with Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story. A Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story CD key activates the full game on Steam. Details are on the official Bandle Tale website.
Knitting Magic: Your yordle stitches together tools, bridges and gadgets with yarn-based magic, which drives both crafting and puzzle progression.
Backpack House: Your home travels with you, so you can set up base on each island you unlock.
Five New Islands: Restore magical portals to reach five islands beyond the bandlewoods, each with its own critters and resources.
Festivals and Parties: Plan events, cook farm-to-table dishes and build gadgets to entertain the yordles of Bandle City.
Farming and Cooking: Grow crops and turn your harvest into meals for guests and festival menus.
League of Legends Champions: Befriend familiar champions who become allies as you rebuild the community.
Broad Language Support: Full audio in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil) and Chinese, plus extra subtitle languages.
