Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an online asymmetrical action game developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It launched in October 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Each match pits seven ordinary citizens, the Survivors, against one Raider, a classic Dragon Ball villain such as Cell, Frieza or Majin Buu, inside a temporal seam that has trapped them all.
Survivors work together to stay hidden, gather items and power-ups, and complete objectives so they can escape the field. Familiar tools like Solar Flare and Instant Transmission help them break line of sight, and they can briefly borrow a Super Warrior's power to fight back. Collecting all seven Dragon Balls lets a Survivor summon Shenron for a major boost. The Raider plays the opposite role: hunt Survivors and civilians, absorb energy and evolve through stronger forms with more destructive Super Attacks. Seasonal updates add new Raiders and skins, which are unlocked in-game.
