Etherium is a science-fiction real-time strategy game developed by Tindalos Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment (then Focus Home Interactive), released on Steam on March 25, 2015. Three factions compete for Etherium, a rare and mysterious resource, across planets where the environment is as dangerous as the enemy. Each faction has its own units, strengths and weaknesses, plus command skills such as map exposure, climate control and planetary bombardment.
Matches follow a classic RTS loop of resource gathering, base building and army production, from infantry and tanks to aircraft and giant colossi. Weather anomalies change conditions mid-battle, and neutral secondary factions add another layer to manage. You can win by striking the enemy mothership from the planet's surface or by overrunning their colonies. The single-player Conquest mode is a dynamic campaign where you expand across sectors of space and build an armada, while multiplayer supports matches of up to four players, in teams or free-for-all.
Fans of the studio's later Battlefleet Gothic: Armada or large-scale RTS games like Supreme Commander 2 can find an inexpensive Etherium CD key through our price comparison. Store details are on the official Etherium Steam page.
