EVERSPACE is a single-player space shooter with roguelike structure, developed and published by Hamburg-based ROCKFISH Games. It left Early Access and launched on Steam on May 25, 2017, with support for Windows, macOS and Linux, plus optional VR on PC. An EVERSPACE CD key unlocks the full game on Steam, and console versions are sold on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
You pilot a small fighter through a chain of procedurally generated sectors, piecing together the story of your own existence through voiced encounters with other characters. Each run plays out differently: you dogfight enemy ships, mine asteroids for resources, repair damaged systems and craft new weapons and modifications from blueprints you find along the way. Death is expected, but credits and perks carry over between runs, so every attempt makes the next one stronger.
