Flashback 2 is a sci-fi action-adventure and platform shooter developed by Microids Studio Paris with Paul Cuisset, the designer of the original 1992 Flashback. Microids released it on November 16, 2023. You return as Conrad B. Hart, an agent of the Galactic Bureau of Investigation, in the 22nd century, as General Lazarus leads a Morph invasion that threatens the United Worlds.
The game mixes shooting, platforming, exploration and puzzle solving in 3D environments, including New Tokyo, New Washington and a jungle area. Conrad's main tool is A.I.S.H.A., an adaptive weapon with combat AI that also serves as a companion. The story follows his search for his friend Ian through a series of twists tied to the first game's universe.
A Flashback 2 CD key is aimed at fans of the original and players who like cinematic platform shooters with a cyberpunk setting. Players have reported mixed impressions of its performance and polish, so check recent reviews before buying.
