Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is a single-player action RPG developed by New Zealand studio A44 Games and published by Kepler Interactive. It launched on July 17, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Door to the Great Below has opened, releasing the gods and their armies of the dead on the land of Kian, and the city of Dawn is close to falling. You play Nor Vanek, an elite member of the Coalition army, joined by Enki, a mysterious fox-like being who lends his magic to the fight.
The game keeps Souls-like structure, but it moves faster. Combos weave together melee strikes, gunpowder weapons and Enki's spells, and Nor's gunpowder abilities let her blast into the air to attack from above or escape danger. Between fights you traverse the ruined landscape with Enki's portals, collect gear, upgrade weapons and prepare for boss battles against the gods themselves.
It suits players who like Souls-style challenge but want more mobility and a faster combat rhythm. A Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn CD key for Steam is usually the cheapest way to play on PC. A Deluxe Edition Upgrade is also sold as separate DLC.

Gunpowder and Magic Combat: Chain melee weapons, flintlock firearms and Enki's magic into rhythmic combos that reward aggressive play.
Enki the Companion: The fox-like Enki guides Nor through Kian, shares lore and powers up her combat and traversal skills.
Vertical Mobility: Gunpowder blasts launch Nor into the air to strike from above or recover quickly from danger.
Boss Fights Against Gods: The central goal is to kill the gods that escaped the Great Below and close the door behind them.
Portal Traversal: Enki's portals let you soar across the ruined landscape of Kian between encounters.
Gear and Weapon Upgrades: Find new equipment, strengthen your weapons and upgrade your gear ahead of each major fight.
Souls-lite Design: Keeps core Souls-like elements while adding rapid movement and faster-paced battles.
