Midnight Ghost Hunt is a team-based multiplayer hide-and-seek game developed by Vaulted Sky Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing. After a period in Early Access, the full release arrived on March 21, 2024. Each match pits four Ghosts against four Hunters across haunted locations such as an abandoned theater, an eerie mansion and a cursed carnival.
Ghosts possess ordinary objects like chairs, lamps and grandfather clocks to stay hidden, then throw furniture around with telekinesis when Hunters turn their backs. Ghosts can also turn invisible, conjure a damaging miasma or disguise themselves as a Hunter. Hunters work as a team, using detection tools such as the Spectrophone, Radar and Pathfinder, then attack with the Spectral Cannon, salt-spewing shotguns, harpoons and a vacuum that sucks up spectral remains. The twist comes at midnight: the witching hour supercharges the Ghosts, and the Hunters must survive their revenge until time runs out. Perks on both sides let you tune your playstyle.
