Need for Speed: Most Wanted is an open-world racing game developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. Released in October 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it is a reimagining of the 2005 game of the same name rather than a direct remake. It holds a Metacritic score of 78 on PC.
The game drops you into Fairview, a fictional city with downtown streets, highways, an airfield and hillside roads. There are no menus or lobbies between events: you find cars parked around the map, jump in, and drive straight into races, police chases and speed challenges. Your goal is to climb the Most Wanted list by beating its ten drivers and taking their cars. Online, a nonstop playlist of events lets you race and battle other players, while Autolog tracks scores, speeds and times so you always have a friend's record to beat.
Fans of Criterion's earlier Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will recognize the crash-heavy handling and police action. A Need for Speed: Most Wanted CD key is one of the cheapest ways to add a classic open-world racer to your library. See the official EA page for more details.
