Outriders is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter developed by People Can Fly, the Polish studio behind Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, and published by Square Enix. It launched on April 1, 2021 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. The story is set on Enoch, a hostile alien world where humanity's last colonists are trapped in a brutal war. You create your own Outrider and head out from the slums of the First City across forests, mountains and desert to chase a mysterious signal.
Combat blends third-person cover shooting with aggressive class powers. The four classes are the Trickster, Pyromancer, Devastator and Technomancer, and each rewards a different playstyle, from close-range assassinations to long-range heavy ordnance. Loot drives progression: you collect guns and armor, slot hundreds of mods, spend points in class skill trees and raise the World Tier for tougher fights and better gear. After the campaign, Expeditions add 18 hand-crafted endgame levels.
The game suits players who like Destiny-style loot chasing but want a self-contained story and a fixed squad size. An Outriders CD key is a budget-friendly way to own the base game, and the separate Worldslayer expansion adds more content later.
