Phantom Fury is a first-person action shooter developed by Slipgate Ironworks and published by 3D Realms, released on Steam on April 23, 2024. It is the follow-up to Bombshell and brings back Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison. Years after her fight against Jadus Heskel, Shelly wakes from a coma with a new bionic arm and is sent to secure the Demon Core, a highly dangerous artifact, on a cross-country hunt.
The game plays like a road movie with guns. Missions take you through seedy hotels in Albuquerque, abandoned facilities in Los Alamos and the streets of Chicago. The levels are built for interaction, with usable computers, helicopter flights and playable arcade machines. You fight treacherous soldiers, cyborgs and mutants using more than 20 weapons, from the returning Bowling Bombs to armor-piercing shotguns and electrified foam launchers. Weapon mods unlock new fire modes, and upgrades to your arm and suit add abilities such as a punch attack and an electric shield. Boss battles test everything you have unlocked.
Phantom Fury suits players who like fast single-player shooters with a large arsenal and interactive levels. A Phantom Fury CD key gets you the full campaign on Steam for less.
