Remnant II is a third-person action RPG shooter developed by Gunfire Games and released on July 25, 2023. It is the sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes and once again sends the last survivors of humanity against a spreading evil, this time across several strange worlds packed with mythical creatures and large-scale boss fights. You can play alone or team up with two friends in online co-op.
Combat mixes methodical and frantic gunplay with melee attacks, so gear choice matters. Worlds, dungeons and quest lines are generated dynamically, which means two playthroughs rarely look the same. Branching quests, crafting, augments and loot reward exploration, and the expanded Archetype system lets you unlock, level and pair two classes for different builds. A Remnant II CD key unlocks the base game on Steam, and three story DLCs (The Awakened King, The Forgotten Kingdom and The Dark Horizon) expand it further.
