Republic of Pirates is a city-building strategy game with real-time naval combat, developed by Crazy Goat Games and published by PQube. It launched on Steam on June 19, 2024. The story opens after a once-powerful pirate confederacy collapses in mutiny, and you set out to build a new pirate utopia in the Caribbean while hunting the traitors who broke it apart.
Each session splits between land and sea. On land you turn an outpost into a settlement using more than 100 buildings, move goods through docks, depots and warehouses, and raise citizens through new tiers of industry. At sea you recruit captains, build ships from eight classes and fight real-time battles, with a tactical map for planning raids. Diplomacy with rival crews and national trading companies adds another layer, since your actions shape every relationship. A Republic of Pirates CD key activates the full game on Steam, which also supports Steam Workshop and adjustable difficulty.
