RimWorld - Anomaly is the fourth major expansion for Ludeon Studios' colony simulator, released on April 11, 2024 for Windows, macOS and Linux. Your colonists wake a dark monolith, and an insane machine-mind starts to haunt the rim with strange manifestations. The expansion draws on horror classics such as The Thing, the Cthulhu mythos and Hellraiser.
The new content goes beyond monster fights. An invisible hunter returns every night for a new victim, a fleshmass creature spreads across the map, and parasites disguise themselves as your own colonists. You build a containment facility, capture entities, harvest the new bioferrite resource and craft void-powered gear. Cultists stage psychic rituals, and you can perform your own. The new endgame plunges the world into darkness before a final choice against the machine god.
Anomaly is DLC, so you need the base game. If you already own RimWorld - Biotech, both expansions run together in the same save. A RimWorld - Anomaly CD key unlocks the content on Steam. Read the store page on Steam for the full content list.
