SAND LAND is an action RPG developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, released on April 25, 2024. It adapts the world created by Akira Toriyama, the artist behind Dragon Ball, and holds a Metacritic score of 75 on PC. You play as Beelzebub, the Fiend Prince, traveling with Thief and Sheriff Rao in search of the Legendary Spring in a desert where humans and demons suffer from a severe water shortage. Beyond the desert lies a second region, Forest Land.
Vehicles are the core of the game. You unlock and level up battle tanks, motorbikes, jump-bots and other machines by swapping weapons, engines and suspensions, and customize them with paint and decals. On foot, Beelzebub develops his own combat abilities while Rao and Thief add support attacks. Between missions you rebuild a base of operations into a growing town with help from the people you meet.
