Sudden Strike 4 is a real-time strategy game set during World War II, developed by Kite Games and published by Kalypso Media. It released on PC on August 11, 2017, and holds a Metacritic score of 70. The game revives the long-running Sudden Strike series with larger maps, more units and three campaigns covering the Allied, German and Soviet armies.
The focus is tactics, not base building. You command more than 100 historical units, including the Tiger tank, the T-34, the Heinkel He 111 bomber and the Hawker Typhoon. You flank armor to hit weak spots, garrison buildings with infantry, set ambushes and call in air strikes. Nine commanders, such as George Patton and Bernard Montgomery, each add unique abilities. An optional pause-and-play mode lets you issue orders while the action is frozen.
A Sudden Strike 4 CD key fits players who like methodical WWII tactics in the style of Company of Heroes 2, but with a stronger focus on unit positioning and limited resources.
