Tamarak Trail is a roguelike deck-building game developed by Yarrow Games and published by Versus Evil with tinyBuild. It launched on PC via Steam on February 29, 2024. You join the Sturgeon Lodge, a secret society sworn to defeat a malevolent force that has corrupted the trail and the people who live along it.
Instead of cards, you build a set of customizable dice. Each die face carries an ability, and you assemble faces to create synergies, then chain re-rolls and face-turning effects to control each fight. Three classes shape your run: the Detective, the Magician and the Tracker. Every trail is randomly generated, with different bosses, objectives and encounters, so you plan routes, manage resources and collect artifacts and imbued items that add dice or change your battle style.
